Up! 3D Printers
3D printing is a form of additive manufacturing technology where a three
dimensional object is created by successive layers of material. Up! 3D
printers are fast, affordable and easy to use.
The UP! 3D Printer uses a nozzle to deposit molten polymer onto a support
structure, layer by layer, similar with FDM.
Portability & Ease of Use
Super light at less than 5 kg the Up! 3D printer is easy to move and
install. With its small size (245 x 260 x 350 mm)
the UP! 3D
printer
can be packed in a small case.
Also, after loading the digital
model, the UP! 3D printer can work independently without a computer
as it stores the data on the printer.
Automatic support generation is done by the software. You simply import
the 3D model and the software can position it ready for printing with
a few mouse clicks. No training or previous expertise required. With
an automated material loading device, the model build process requires
nothing
from you.
Office/Home Friendly
No special power or other devices are required. The UP! 3D printer
is quiet and
requires no special cleanup after each build such as solvents or pressurised
air or water.
Product Applications
Toy & Animation
Toy characters and animated characters can now be touched and evaluated
from 3D scans or original designs.
Education
Our 3D printers can help students get interested in learning.
Students can feel and touch their own designs within minutes for design
evaluations. With the help of 3D printers, teachers can also give
attractive presentations in class with tactile teaching aids.
Art, Architecture & Design.
Artists and designers can now quickly realise
their creative thoughts at low cost, allowing them to accelerate design
development and evaluation at low cost. Design changes can be quickly
made and the design optimised prior to finalising a design.
Consumer products
Our desktop UP! Printer uses ABS plastic to build durable, tough, and
pure parts that can be used in our daily life. Like a clamp, it can
be used to nip a towel; Pens and pencils can be put into a pen container;
even a scissors made by our printer can pick up little things. It also
builds parts that can be used on itself. The models can be drilled,
sanded, and painted.
Medical industry
With the help of CAD/CAM technology, CT scan data can be printed out
by our UP! printer. The accurate 3D models of patient’s bones
or organs are presented before the surgeon, which can help them get
familiar with patient’s situation. Accurate prototypes can also
be perfected quickly and easily, which reduces the need for adjustments
to templates.
Up! Plus & Up! Mini
Choose from either the Up! Plus or the entry level Up! Mini 3D printers.
Both are pre-built and are designed for quick setup and easy operation.
The UP! Mini is based on the simplicity of a traditional inkjet printer,
with a snap in printer head, slide in build table and clip in consumable
roll. You are now ready to start making your big ideas into 3-Dimensional
usable models out of tough ABS+ plastic.
The Up! Mini has an enclosed
steel construction, double linear bearings on each axis and a temperature
stabilizing build chamber; it is ready to produce quality parts on your
desk within 15 minutes from switching it on.
